Program Manager

Managing the Information Security Program Support Services for the NIH Office of the Director, the full-time Program Manager will oversee cybersecurity support teams, coordinate contractor resources, and ensure program management outcomes while primarily working remotely with occasional travel to Bethesda, MD. Key responsibilities Serve as the primary Program Manager and interface with key stakeholders, maintaining accountability for cost, schedule, and performance across all task areas Establish and maintain a structured reporting framework and lead recurring status meetings to support government decision-making Identify and mitigate program risks, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and timeliness standards while managing a multidisciplinary cybersecurity team Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline Minimum 10 years of progressive IT/cybersecurity experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role on federal contracts Demonstrated experience managing cybersecurity operations in FISMA / NIST 800-53 environments Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Senior security certification such as CISSP or CISM (or comparable)
