Local Team Collaboration Join our close-knit team of 28 physicians and 9 APPs at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Work alongside a fantastic team of emergency and hospital medicine colleagues, providing an excellent variety of pathology. Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools. Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts. Qualifications Board-certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine. Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Georgia. Authorized to work in the United States. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Scheduling Full-time positions available. Our emergency department provides 90 hours of physician coverage and 36 hours of APP coverage daily. Key Responsibilities Provide top-quality patient care to MUMC, Effingham Health System, and 2 new FSED’s opening in 2027! Foster collaboration and support among team members. Emphasize proper, careful, and safe patient treatment as a core focus. Use EPIC as the electronic medical record system.
