Apartment Maintenance Technician

The Apartment Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance and repair to ensure apartment homes and other property facilities are in good working order. Work schedule: Monday through Friday, rotating weekends on-call, overtime as needed Responsibilities include: HVAC and appliance installation and repair Plumbing and electrical repair Lock installation, repair, and re-keying Preventive maintenance Preparing vacant apartments for move-in

MUST HAVE

HVAC certification (Universal preferred) 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices Physical ability to perform assigned tasks General knowledge of applicable building codes / laws Ability to complete required documentation High school diploma or equivalent Reliable vehicle suitable for maintenance work Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance Ability to pass credit, background, and drug screenings
