Essential Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso-based beverages, coffee, tea, and specialty drinks according to company standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service and create a positive guest experience.
- Accurately operate POS systems and process transactions.
- Maintain product knowledge of menu items, pastries, sandwiches, and seasonal offerings.
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory management.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
- Keep café, dining, and work areas clean and organized.
- Work collaboratively with team members during busy periods.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Remain on your feet and actively working for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed for stocking, deliveries,
equipment, and café operations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment during peak business hours.
- Ability to safely operate coffee equipment and handle hot beverages.
Qualifications
- Previous barista, café, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Availability to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
