Production Associate I Norwich, CT Pay Rate: $19.75 per hour 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Position Overview We are seeking reliable and motivated Production Associates to join a growing manufacturing team in Norwich, CT. In this role, you will support production operations by operating equipment, assembling and packaging products, performing quality inspections, and helping maintain a safe and efficient work environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing experience as well as individuals looking to build a career in production and manufacturing. Responsibilities Operate production equipment safely and efficiently Assemble, package, and label products according to specifications Perform quality inspections on in-process and finished products Complete production documentation accurately Monitor product quality and identify defects or inconsistencies Perform rework on products when necessary Assist with equipment setup and routine maintenance activities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all safety procedures and work instructions Cross-train in other production areas as needed Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals Participate in continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required Previous manufacturing, production, or industrial experience preferred Experience using scales or measuring equipment is a plus Basic computer skills required Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Dependable with a strong work ethic Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift Frequent use of hands and arms throughout the workday Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moving equipment and moderate noise levels Benefits of the Opportunity Competitive pay at $19.75 per hour Full-time, consistent schedule Opportunity to develop manufacturing and production skills Team-oriented work environment Potential for overtime and long-term growth opportunities Apply today to be considered for this exciting manufacturing opportunity in Norwich, CT.
