Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract position supporting K-12 students as an onsite School Psychologist. Working full-time, you’ll collaborate with general education teams and contribute your expertise in multidisciplinary assessment at a vibrant, inclusive school environment near Petersburg, MI.

Bring your knowledge and professional approach to help foster positive educational outcomes and meaningful connections with students, families, and staff. You’ll assess, support, and advocate for students’ academic and behavioral needs while engaging with a dedicated educational community.

Qualifications:

Valid Michigan School Psychologist license (full or temporary) or Full Approval from the Michigan Department of Education
Demonstrated experience working with school-aged children
Strong collaborative skills to support general education teams
Proficiency in multidisciplinary assessment strategies
Solid understanding of curriculum development and behavioral supports
Preferred: Experience supporting students in Special Education settings

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for K-12 students
Interpret assessment results and discuss recommendations with educators and families
Collaborate actively with general and special education staff to design and implement student support plans
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing valuable insights to promote student success
Support the integration of behavioral and academic strategies tailored to individual student needs
