Job Description
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

3x12 Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, for a total of 36 hours per week. Every other weekend is required.

Assignment Details

No call requirement; floating to Maternity/Mother-Baby is required. Orientation spans 24 hours, including one day for healthstream unit assignments and two days on unit orientation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience preferred; 1-2 years of experience will be considered.
• Previous charge nurse experience required.
• Circulate during c-sections is required.
• Experience with Epic EMR system is necessary.
• Travelers located within 50 miles will receive a $15 rate decrease.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
• Perform assessments and interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team regarding patient care.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal health throughout labor.
• Assist in the delivery room during various procedures, including c-sections.
