  • Coordinate with HSE subject matter experts to integrate safety and environmental considerations into project planning and execution.

  • Work with project owners and sponsors to define scope, objectives, budgets, and schedules.
  • Develop project execution plans and track performance against approved capital plans.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and cost performance.

Engineering & Technical Coordination

  • Coordinate with external engineering firms responsible for project design and cost estimation.
  • Review engineering deliverables including process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), material and energy balances, equipment specifications, and construction drawings.
  • Support equipment selection, vendor evaluation, and procurement activities in coordination with procurement teams.
  • Facilitate technical communication between engineering consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Stakeholder & Contractor Coordination

  • Maintain strong working relationships with operations, maintenance, processing, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and minimal operational disruption.
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Interface with government agencies, including building permit departments, as required.

Project Controls & Documentation

  • Support cost tracking, schedule management, and change control processes.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, approvals, and reporting.
  • Utilize project management tools to monitor progress and communicate status updates to leadership.

Other Duties

  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet operational needs.

This job description is intended to provide a summary of the typical functions of the job and is not a comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks, and duties. NewRange reserves the right to modify or assign other duties as necessary to meet operational needs.

  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulatory requirements is an asset.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an asset.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is considered an asset.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
