Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing the daily clinical operations of our nursing department. The ADON is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, supervising nursing staff, and fostering a positive, patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Nursing with the daily management of nursing operations.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and policies.
• Conduct clinical assessments and ensure appropriate care planning and documentation.
• Participate in staff hiring, orientation, training, and performance evaluations.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate unit coverage.
• Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and support quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted RN License
• BLS Certification by AHA
• Minimum 1 year of LTC experience preferred
