This role focuses on learning the injection molding process, following standard procedures, and supporting production efficiency while adhering to safety and quality standards.Second shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00pm-10:30pmSecond shift Operators receive a +$1.00 shift differential in addition to their hourly base pay for working this shift**Now offering a $2500 sign on bonus for new employees!**ResponsibilitiesOperate injection molding machines under supervision to produce molded components according to specificationsLoad raw materials, monitor machine cycles, and ensure molds are properly preparedConduct basic in-process checks using gauges or calipers, reporting any issues to a Lead or Associate IIIdentify and report obvious molding defects (e.g., flash, short shots, burns) to a supervisorAssist with material changes, purging, and housekeeping of molding equipmentRecord production data, scrap, and downtime as directedFollow all safety guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Participate in training and skill development to progress to higher-level rolesQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredManufacturing experience preferredNo prior injection molding experience required; training provided on the jobBasic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learnAbility to follow instructions and work under supervisionAttention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work in a team environmentBasic computer/data entry skills a plusReliable transportation required (location not accessible by public transit)Ability to read, write, and understand basic English requiredFlexibility to work overtime as neededPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionallyProlonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching during shiftsWork performed in a manufacturing floor environment with exposure to noise, heat, and moving equipmentOur mission is to inspire advances in bioprocessing as a trusted partner in the production of biologic drugs that improve human health worldwide. The estimated hourly rate/salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $19/Hr. -$21/Hr.. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
