Phlebotomist - Outpatient

Position Phlebotomist Location Edward Hospital, 801 S. Washington St., Naperville, IL Schedule Full‑time 40 hours per week. Hours: 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. or 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, every other Saturday and occasional Sundays/holidays. Compensation Hourly Pay Range: $19.31 – $28.00; starting rate $19.25/hr. Pay determined by expertise and experience. Responsibilities Under general supervision and established policies, prepare, collect, log, and label specimens for testing. Perform pre‑analytical processing/ordering of specimens arriving in the lab. Register patient information and order laboratory tests in the computer system. Arrange specimens for further processing by laboratory staff. Qualifications Phlebotomist I – High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a phlebotomy training program with a minimum of 100 clinical training hours; current CPR (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; valid Illinois driver’s license and auto insurance. Phlebotomist II – High school diploma or equivalent; current CPR (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; valid Illinois driver’s license and auto insurance; minimum of one year of phlebotomy experience.
