Qualifications Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with Middle School Education Endorsement Application Deadline This position will remain posted until the hiring process is complete; however, interviews may be conducted after February 23, 2026, so interested applicants should submit their materials ASAP to ensure consideration. This position is for the District's Title I Middle School Summer School Program, which will be located at Edison Middle School. This program runs Monday-Thursday from June 3, 2026 - July 2, 2026. Student Contact Hours will be from 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Staff will be expected to be on duty (and will be paid) from 7:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. This position will serve students on an as-needed basis when the regular Summer School teacher is absent. Work is not guaranteed. Teachers will be paid at the rate of $40.00/hour, for actual hours worked.
