Description

American Traveler is hiring a School-Based Occupational Therapist to serve pediatric students across multiple school sites in the Redding, CA area, with new grads welcome to apply.

Details

• School-based assignment serving schools in Trinity and Shasta counties out of a Redding office
• Alternative option available covering four school sites in Shasta county based out of the Redding office
• Client population includes pediatric and school-aged students requiring occupational therapy services
• Day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts (8am-5pm)
• Expected 40 hours per week
• Therapist will travel between multiple school sites with mileage and travel time reimbursed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• California Occupational Therapy license required (pending license accepted); license required if applicable
• Valid Driver's License required
• BLS certification required
• NBCOT certification preferred
• New graduates accepted, no prior experience required
• Experience with pediatric populations, autism, cerebral palsy, and sensory integration preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include schedule planning, evaluation, and treatment program design and implementation
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Preference for candidates available for the entire school year through May 28, 2027
• Time off requests must be finalized prior to consideration
