Location: Raleigh, NC 
Job Title: Senior Civil Estimator
Salary: 80K-140K
Requirements: 5+ years of Civil estimating experience, preferably on heavy civil, highway, roadway, municipal and/or commercial projects.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs for civil construction projects, ensuring that all financial aspects are thoroughly evaluated and accounted for. This role will involve collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to support the successful completion of projects, particularly in heavy civil and roadway construction for both commercial and government clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed estimates for civil construction projects including heavy civil and roadway work.
• Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements and prepare cost estimates accordingly.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
• Research and analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to develop comprehensive estimates.
• Prepare bid documents and participate in bid presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates on budgetary concerns and financial forecasts.
• Assist in negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil estimating, with a focus on heavy civil and roadway projects.
• Strong knowledge of NCDOT regulations and requirements.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
