About the Position

Job Title: Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience preferred License: South Carolina RN License (preferred) Certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience with Pediatric and Adult Transplant procedures, Biopsy, Balloon, Stent, and Valve Placement Description: We are seeking a Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech for a dynamic team. This position requires experience in a Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab. Electrophysiology experience is preferred. The role involves performing procedures on congenital heart patients including heart catheterizations, biopsies, and interventions. The tech will work in a two-room Cath Lab. On-call requirements include 8-10 shifts per month, with weekend coverage included. Candidates must possess required certifications from recognized institutions. The position provides an opportunity to work in a teaching facility with diverse patient cases. All RTO must be included at the time of submission for scheduling. The facility prioritizes candidates with a valid South Carolina license. If a candidate has non-holiday RTO of 7 days or less, the account manager can auto-offer the position. Hurricane season runs from June through November; awareness of emergency response duties is essential.
