In this position as the Laboratory Supervisor for Central Processing , you'll have the opportunity to lead an expanding and dynamic team of dedicated professionals. Join us as Laboratory Supervisor and see the Amazing Things Happening in the Laboratory. This is a day shift position working Monday - Friday plus alternate weekends & rotating holidays, with supervisory coverage extended to other shifts as inherent in a leadership position. Location is our Columbia campus in Upper Manhattan/Washington Heights. Preferred Criteria Bachelor's Degree Laboratory-related certifications ASCP Certification or NYS Licensure for Clinical Laboratory Medicine, Clinical Laboratory Technologist Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) and other laboratory information systems (e.g. Epic, Epic Beaker) Knowledge of data analytics tools e.g. Tableau, Power BI Required Criteria Associate's degree or equivalent work experience 3+ years of laboratory experience defining pre-analytical and post analytical processes Documented supervisory experience Good communication skills, both written and oral Established working knowledge of MS Office 365: PowerPoint, Excel Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, leadership, and stakeholders.
