Key Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer in a hospital setting
• Valid sonographer certification/license (examples: ARDMS RDMS, ARRT(S), or state sonography license) — must be in good standing
• Ability to work weekend night shifts and holiday coverage as required
• Flexibility to cover additional open shifts when needed
• Completion of all onboarding health and background requirements (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA, fit testing, drug screen, and others as required by facility)
• Successful completion of facility-specific skills checklist and competency testing

Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound procedures (clinical imaging) in a busy hospital environment with attention to image quality and patient safety
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to support optimal patient care
• Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment and adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
• Demonstrate flexibility by covering additional shifts and participating in holiday coverage if required by the contract
• Complete facility competency requirements and participate in department workflows to support patient throughput
