Field Service Applications Engineer Intern

Job Summary:
The Applications Engineer Intern will act as the technical expert to customers, distributors, agencies and Toshiba Sales involving the design, application and performance of Toshiba Industrial products.
Responsibilities:
Current enrollment in Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineering or Computer Science program at an accredited college or university.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The Applications Engineer Intern will act as the technical expert to customers, distributors, agencies and Toshiba Sales involving the design, application and performance of Toshiba Industrial products.
Responsibilities:
- Gain engineering experience by providing detailed technology support to customers, distributors, agencies and Toshiba Sales.
- Provides technical support and product trouble-shooting to customers.
- Work directly with other engineers and professionals in a team environment and see how Toshiba's engineers work together to deliver success.
- Develop your skills under the supervision and guidance of experienced professionals.
- bility to work with student around college class schedule within standard business hours.
- Training provided in Houston, TX. visitors in a welcoming and professional manner
- Verifying visitor IDs for security checks
- nswer and address incoming phone calls
- Reception area maintenance
- Welcome display updates for visitors
- Maintain executive conference. Restock supplies as needed
Current enrollment in Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineering or Computer Science program at an accredited college or university.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- bility to work 40hrs per week at our office located in Northwest Houston, TX.
- Must be a team player and able to work in a culturally diverse environment.
- bility to communicate effectively and efficiently
- Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience.
- Copilot experience. Programming experience is a plus.
- Computer science or electrical engineering degree preferred.
