Shop Helper - Urgently hiring in Salem!

Job Title: Shop Helper
Pay: $17 - $18 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday 6am-4:30pm
Start Date: ASAP

As a Shop Helper, you'll assist in a busy plant environment working on custom residential cabinetry, commercial casework, and architectural millwork. Your role is key to supporting production, handling deliveries, and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.


What You'll Do

As a Shop Helper, you will be responsible for:

• Helping in the plant working on custom residential cabinetry, commercial casework, and architectural millwork
• Assisting with deliveries when needed
• Sanding parts
• Cleaning parts
• Scraping parts
• Assembling cabinets
• Building up of countertop parts
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Sweeping and cleaning up the shop

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• The ability to lift and maneuver 50 pounds
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record for the last 3 years (preferred but not mandatory)
• Previous woodworking experience or interest in woodworking (desirable but not mandatory)
• Construction skills are helpful and relatable
• Comfort with stooping, bending, and twisting throughout the shift
