Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm.

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital St. Louis is a 90-bed Rehabilitation Hospital. Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries and other conditions. Our Unit is a very fast-paced yet fun environment with endless opportunities to learn and grow!

How You'll Contribute:

The Physical Therapy Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility. Additional responsibilities include:

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for:

• Education: Associate's degree from a PTA program is required.
• Experience: Rehab or acute care experience is preferred.
• License: Current PTA license in state of Missouri is required.
• Certifications: CPR certification is required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Accepting new Grads
