Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices aimed at addressing the mental health needs of adults.

  • Perform detailed bio-psycho-social assessments to understand clients’ challenges and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • \n
  • Provide coping strategies and social skills training, focusing on anger management and reducing maladaptive behaviors such as self-injury and aggression.
  • \n
  • Assist clients and their families in navigating in-home behavioral challenges by enhancing decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients and their families.
  • \n
  • Document treatment sessions and client progress accurately within designated timeframes, including intake reports, treatment plans, and DAP notes.
  • \n
  • Participate in monthly team meetings and submit weekly required progress paperwork to ensure accountability and transparency in client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists work primarily with a diverse adult clientele facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

  • Current licensure as LMFT, LCSW, or LMHC is mandatory for this position.
  • \n
  • In-depth knowledge and training in clinical mental health practices.
  • \n
  • Clinical field experience with adults demonstrating sound clinical judgment.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in utilizing the DSM-V for assessment and diagnosis.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with treatment planning, progress note documentation, and goal setting.
  • \n
Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience in utilizing various therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Gestalt Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma Response strategies.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and a willingness to engage in ongoing crisis intervention training.

  • Experience providing positive behavior support and intervention strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
