Electrical Engineer

Electrical EngineerJohnson Controls is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Product Electrical Engineering team in our HVAC Engineering department at our New Freedom, PA, location. In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee the system electrical design of air- and water-cooled chillers, as well as provide support to production, laboratory, service, applications, and marketing teams, globally, for new and existing product offerings.Candidates must be commuting distance to the office, or able to relocate. Sponsorship is not available for this position, and we require candidates to be US Citizens and/or Permanent Residents of the US.Required:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field1-3 years of system level electrical and panel designAbility to travel up to 10%US Citizenship and/or Permanent Residents of the USPreferred:Experience designing and delivering industrial products in engineer-to-order, applied, or made-to-order 'environmentsWorking knowledge of chiller control systems, including electrical controls, system integration, and troubleshootingProficiency with AutoCAD for creating, reviewing, and maintaining electrical and engineering drawings and documentationFamiliarity with HVAC Systems and motor-driven mechanical engineering designExperience utilizing mechanical system design tools and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to support product development and manufacturing operationsDemonstrated experience applying and interpreting industry regulatory standards and certifications, including UL, NEC, CSA, and CE requirementsHIRING SALARY RANGE: $75,000 - $90,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
