Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Stepdown (36hr Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts (7:15 PM – 7:15 AM) | Holiday and weekend rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Stepdown unit during overnight shifts
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the appropriate care team members
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotation as required by unit scheduling

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Massachusetts
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in a Medical Surgical, IMC, PCU, or Stepdown setting
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts on a rotating schedule including holidays and weekends

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Intermediate Care or Progressive Care Unit environment
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in an acute care setting
