CT Technologist

Location: Buena Vista, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. This role involves performing basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including but not limited to CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
• Conduct biopsy/drainage procedures with proficiency.
• Understand the processes of the CT system, surgical/sterile procedures, and studies with or without contrast media.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• ARRT MRT/TMB License.
• BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Registered CT or at least 2 years of CT experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from the facility.
