$18.00 - $26.00/hr* (hourly wage range for this position) Shifts may vary Position Summary Provides member service, maintains the checkout and entrance areas, resolves member issues and concerns, promotes Sam's Club products and services, and supports members with self‑service technology. Responsible for processing member purchases, handling payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies. Ensures safety, security, and cleanliness of the member shopping environment and conducts safety sweeps. Assists in training and onboarding new associate peers and supports continuous learning and process improvement initiatives. What you'll do Offer excellent member service by acknowledging members, verifying membership cards, and identifying member needs. Maintain checkout, entrance, and exit areas; arrange and organize merchandise; zone the area. Process payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and handle member receipts. Conduct safety sweeps, correct unsafe situations, and report them to facility management. Assist with the training of new associates on company processes, procedures, and technology. Maintain documentation, logs, and other required records; execute emergency response procedures. Work with managers, co-workers, and customers to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and recommend improvement opportunities. Minimum Qualifications Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register). Experience with mobile retail applications. Preferred Qualifications Additional retail experience or experience with advanced point‑of‑sale systems. Experience in a customer‑service focus environment.
