Job TitleKey ResponsibilitiesResident Assessment: Observe, assess, document, and report resident conditions and changes during rounds.Care Implementation: Ensure resident care plans are correctly followed and implemented.Medication Administration: Give prescribed medications and perform narcotic counts (reconciliation) between shifts.Physician Communication: Complete required nursing assessments before calling a doctor regarding any change in a resident's health.Supervision: Monitor and oversee certified nursing aides.Documentation: Complete accident, incident, and discharge reports according to facility policy.Family Communication: Update residents' designated points of contact on status changes.QualificationsCompletion of an accredited vocational nursing program.Active status as a Graduate Vocational Nurse pursuing official Texas licensure.We are an equal opportunity employer.
