What You'll Do As a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you'll provide skilled occupational therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Your responsibilities will include: Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans established by the supervising Occupational Therapist. Help residents improve independence with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and self-care. Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, coordination, endurance, and functional performance. Assist residents in developing or restoring the skills needed for meaningful daily activities. Provide training in adaptive equipment, compensatory techniques, and functional task performance. Monitor residents' responses to treatment and communicate progress, concerns, and changes in condition to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members. Educate residents and families on strategies to support safety and independence within the COTA scope of practice. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. Follow Ohio occupational therapy practice requirements, facility policies, and established safety protocols. Contribute to a positive, collaborative, patient-centered rehabilitation environment. Who We're Looking For We're interested in connecting with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants who bring compassion, clinical skills, and a genuine commitment to helping others. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current Ohio Occupational Therapy Assistant license or eligibility for licensure before beginning employment. Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a supervising Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary team. Commitment to delivering individualized, high-quality occupational therapy services. Experience in skilled nursing, geriatrics, or post-acute rehabilitation is a plus, but not required. Experienced COTAs and New Graduates Are Welcome to Apply!
