• Setting: Inpatient Neurology / Neurohospitalist (hospitalist neurology)
• Shift Times: 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm or 6pm-6am)
• Duration: 16 weeks (September 8, 2026 - December 29, 2026)
• Shifts per Week: Variable based on coverage needs
• Patient Encounters per Shift: 12-15
• Call: No call required

Job Requirements

• Board Certified in Neurology (BC required)
• Active Washington State medical license (WA)
• DEA license required
• Current CV / curriculum vitae
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient neurology experience preferred
• Fellowship training in neurology or neurohospitalist medicine is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient neurology care as a neurohospitalist physician
• Manage 12-15 patient encounters per 12-hour shift
• Perform inpatient consultations, neurological exams, and acute management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (hospitalists, intensivists, nursing, therapists) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in structured handoffs and communicate effectively with hospital staff
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, compliance standards, and quality metrics
