Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Current SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Demonstrated experience in school-based and pediatric settings
• Proven ability to supervise SLP Assistants (SLPAs)
• Hands-on practice with Medicaid billing procedures
• Familiarity with IEP processes, assessments, and speech therapy best practices
• Effective communication with students, families, and educational teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group speech-language therapy for students with diverse needs
• Complete assessments, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Accurately document sessions, progress, and Medicaid billing requirements
• Oversee and mentor SLP Assistants, ensuring quality service delivery
• Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to support student goals
• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and district regulations
