ABOUT THE TEAM

The MDI team designs, deploys, and sustains sovereign and multinational classified systems that power Anduril’s global Maritime and AUKUS missions. As a Multinational Digital Infrastructure & Systems Engineer, you will architect and implement classified environments, networks, gateways, and access pathways to enable U.S., Australian, and UK engineering and operational teams to collaborate across IL5, IL6, and releasable environments.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Full Stack Systems and Software Engineer, you will work across complex digital ecosystems, architecting solutions that integrate seamlessly across Maritime platforms, secure classified environments, and corporate IT systems. Your work will streamline Lattice OS deployments in sovereign, multinational, and operational environments, ensuring scalability and reliability at every layer of the stack.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Software Development & Engineering Build frontend applications for command‑and‑control systems, mission dashboards, and system health monitoring tools. Develop backend and middleware services, designing scalable, secure APIs and microservices. Integrate with Lattice OS by building tools and interfaces for Maritime systems, unmanned vehicles, and classified cloud environments. Bridge Maritime platforms and IT infrastructure, integrating sensors, mission systems, network devices, and multinational defense environments. Implement secure networking solutions, including mesh networking architectures, fault‑tolerant data pipelines, and edge‑to‑cloud systems for classified operations. Support Corporate IT systems, ensuring operational and administrative systems meet enterprise reliability, scalability, and security requirements. Global Mission Focus Support multinational deployments in the U.S., Australia, and UK, focusing on AUKUS joint missions. Collaborate with hardware, autonomy, DevOps, and infrastructure teams for seamless end‑to‑end integration. Provide field support during exercises and testing, troubleshooting integration issues in real time. Process & Documentation Develop technical documentation, including integration guides, API documentation, and deployment procedures. Contribute to R&D by leveraging lessons learned to influence future Lattice and Maritime systems.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of full‑stack software engineering or systems integration experience. Strong proficiency in frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, and backend languages such as Python, Go, or Node.js. Experience with systems engineering, including networking, security, and edge/cloud integrations. Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems architecture. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration solutions. Hands‑on experience with at least one cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) in secure or classified environments. Knowledge of network protocols, mesh networking, and secure communication paradigms. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% for field testing and deployments. Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Familiarity with Maritime platforms, including unmanned underwater vehicles, undersea sensors, or submarine combat and support systems. Previous work with Lattice OS or similar autonomy and sensor fusion operating systems. Experience with sovereign cloud environments (e.g., AWS Secret Region, Australian IRAP‑compliant builds). Hands‑on support for classified military networks, AUKUS collaboration, or multinational mission systems integration. Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware/software/network interactions within dynamic operational environments. Preferred locations: Costa Mesa, CA; Seattle, WA; Quonset, RI; Washington, D.C.; remote possible. US Salary Range $191,000 — $253,000 USD (base only; may vary based on experience, education, and other factors). Equity grants and benefits are part of the total compensation package.
