Quality Inspector

FlexForce is recruiting for a Quality Control Inspector. PRIMARY FUNCTION Performs inspections and tests at receiving, in-process and final for all production parts, subassemblies, purchased parts, outside operations and completed assemblies. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform visual and dimensional inspections of production parts, subassemblies, purchased parts, outside operations and completed assemblies. Conduct hardness testing and maintain gauge calibrations. Test, measure and monitor equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, indicators and comparators. Operate forklift as required. Document inspection results and determine accuracy of heat codes and material test reports. Initiate nonconforming documentation for materials, components, sub‑assemblies and finished assemblies. Verify effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions. Maintain professional relationships with machinists, assemblers, test technicians, final prep personnel, supervisors and managers. Know and understand Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the QMS. Comply with all health and safety rules. QUALIFICATIONS Experience with API standards (preferred). Understanding of quality control processes and QMS. Knowledge of equipment calibration and measurement. Ability to operate forklift. Basic computer and software application proficiency. WORK HOURS & COMPENSATION Full‑time, Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm, some overtime available. Salary: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour. Benefits: Paid holidays, free healthcare. #J-18808-Ljbffr
