Hours & Location Location: Monmouth Outpatient Facility – 480 Red Hill Road, Middletown NJ 07748. Shifts available: Monday – Saturday from 9 AM – 12 PM, 12 PM – 3 PM, 3 PM – 6 PM, and 4 PM – 7 PM. Note: Saturday shifts are between the hours of 9 AM – 3 PM. Volunteer Opportunity We’re seeking compassionate individuals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in a patient‑focused environment at our Monmouth outpatient facility in Middletown, New Jersey. Ideal candidates will help create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere ensuring that everyone who walks through our doors feels cared for and valued. This is an unpaid volunteer role. Responsibilities Warmly welcome patients and caregivers upon arrival, setting a positive tone for their experience. Guide and support wayfinding by escorting visitors to their destinations or answering general inquiries. Foster comfort and connection by engaging in friendly conversation or offering reading materials. Assist with non‑clinical items such as organizing supplies, restocking stations or offering warm blankets. Enhance the patient experience by supporting programs, special events and assist patients navigate tools like MSK MyChart. Qualifications Age 16+. Available to commit to one 3‑hour shift per week for a minimum of 6 months. If you’re a former or current MSK patient, you must be at least one year out of active treatment. Friendly, dependable, and comfortable interacting with patients, families and staff in a respectful and compassionate way. Onboarding Process (average timeline: 4‑6 weeks) Virtual interview based on scheduling availability and program fit. 2–3 references to verify reliability and skills. Background check & drug screen (required for applicants aged 18 or older). Medical clearance, including flu and other immunizations (at the applicant’s expense). Program must be completed within 4‑6 weeks. If your application is pending any onboarding tasks for 30+ days, your application may be rejected.
