In this role, you’ll work in a fast-paced shop environment diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and diesel-powered equipment . Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and trailers Perform routine maintenance and inspections Repair and maintain engines, brakes, electrical systems, and other vehicle components Use diagnostic tools to identify and fix vehicle issues Complete repairs safely and efficiently Keep the work area clean and organized Work with the service team to provide quality repairs and service Qualifications: Previous diesel or heavy-duty technician experience preferred Basic knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle systems Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues Ability to use basic tools and diagnostic equipment Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills Ability to work well in a team and fast‑paced environment Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record ASE certification is preferred, but not required Ability to pass a background check Benefits: 401k Retirement Plan Health Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance Disability Benefits Paid Time Off (Up to 3 weeks per year) Young Automotive Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
