HudMed USA is seeking an energetic and hands-on Equipment Support Specialist to join our small technical team at our Hillsborough headquarters. This labor-intensive role is ideal for someone with a background in automotive work, basic electrical skills, and experience operating heavy power tools. The position involves a blend of shop work, equipment assembly, repairs, and occasional local travel for equipment refueling and pick-ups.

 

Responsibilities

• Perform daily surface preparation including sanding and angle grinding with precision
• Safely operate a box truck for equipment refueling, shop pick-ups, and errands
• Assist with equipment wiring, assembly, and shop repairs using basic electrical knowledge
• Carry out daily physical labor tasks including shop organization and material handling
• Operate and maintain heavy machinery and power tools
• Support a collaborative team environment by maintaining a clean and organized workshop

 

Required Qualifications

• Experience using angle grinders, power sanders, and performing surface finishing
• Practical knowledge of basic electrical work and wiring
• Hands-on background in automotive work, machinery, or auto body repair
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and comfort driving box trucks
• Ability to perform physically demanding labor for an entire 8-hour shift

 

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in equipment support roles

 

HudMed USA offers competitive pay between $20 and $23 per hour based on experience, stable daytime hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and a collaborative headquarters environment where you can take initiative.
