Hydraulic Hose Assembly Technician

Responsibilities:

• Assemble hydraulic hoses by measuring, cutting, crimping, wrapping, and attaching fittings for shipment.
• Participate in inventory cycle counts and maintain stock by tagging, stacking, sorting, and organizing.
• Clean equipment and all shop areas to ensure a tidy working environment.
• Participate in lean activities and adhere to safety regulations.
• Regularly suggest improvements and work on continuous improvement projects focused on lean, quality, and safety.
• Independently complete production and assemblies as required.
• Assist in order entry to support operational efficiency.
• Lift up to 50 lbs as part of assembly and production tasks.

Essential Skills:

• At least 3 years of experience in hydraulic or industrial hose assembly.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including tape measures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Familiarity with fluid connectors and industrial hoses.
• Understanding of inspection techniques for assembly quality assurance.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nottingham, MD 21236.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
