Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery is sought in Washington, District of Columbia. This role involves providing expert nursing care to pregnant patients, including admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-operative care, and deliveries (both vaginal and C-section). Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Washington, District of Columbia
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia; at least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience; 2 years of Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) experience; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification; NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification; AWHONN (Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification in intermediate electronic fetal monitoring.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Fetalink documentation and use of fetal monitors.
• Additional Information: Candidates must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility and be available to work a 3 x 12s rotation with am/pm shifts. The activity includes managing various patient populations, conducting clinical assessments, and documenting care appropriately.
