Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Pharmacist position is available serving multiple pharmacy locations within a dynamic healthcare system in Ventura County. This role involves rotation among three pharmacy sites: a medical center hospital pharmacy, a community hospital pharmacy, and an infusion center pharmacy. Candidates must be flexible to work varied shifts, including 8- and 10-hour schedules, swing shifts, every other weekend, and holidays.
Responsibilities include dispensing medications, managing hazardous drugs such as chemotherapy compounding, and providing expert pharmaceutical care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Familiarity with the Cerner electronic medical record system is preferred; however, training will be provided for qualified candidates.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid pharmacist license with experience in hospital and infusion center settings
- Ability to compound hazardous medications, specifically chemotherapeutic agents
- Willingness and ability to travel between three pharmacy locations within Ventura County
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Experience using Cerner EMR preferred but not required

- Full-time, variable hours including 8- and 10-hour shifts, swing shifts, weekends, and holidays
