Job Description

A-Line Staffing is hiring Pharmacy Technician 2professionals to support a pharmacy micro-fulfillment center (robotics/automation -assisted environment) that helps dispense and ship prescriptions to retail locations. These are contract-to-hire opportunities for strong performers.

Location: Northlake, TX 76262 (On-site)

Pay: $21.60/hr (W2)

Schedule Options

2nd shift or Overnight (see below)

Available Schedules (choose your preference )

2nd Shift

Sun–Tue + Fri: 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM (multiple openings)
Sun–Wed: 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM (1 opening)

Overnight

Sun–Thu: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (multiple openings)

What You’ll Do

Assist in the preparation and distribution of prescription medications using a fulfillment system
Count and fill prescriptions; apply labels; pack and ship orders
Run/support automated machinery and move inventory through workflow stages with strong quality control
Handle data entry for new patient registration and prescription/refill processing (HIPAA compliant)
Troubleshoot missing Rx details, interpret SIG codes/medical abbreviations , and resolve data entry exceptions
Resolve third-party rejects (insurance/billing issues) by correcting and resubmitting claims per plan rules
Support inbound/outbound calls to patients or prescribers as needed
Escalate clinical/Rx interpretation questions to a pharmacist
Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow SOPs

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
2–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
Active Pharmacy Technician registration/licensure in Texas (required)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment (fulfillment / order processing)
Basic PC skills (navigate programs, save/print files, online access)
Intermediate keyboarding (target 25 WPM )
Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation)
Able to work flexible shifts (2nd shift or overnight)

Preferred Qualifications

PTCB or ExCPT certification
2+ years in retail, fulfillment, or call center pharmacy environments
Experience with insurance rejects / third-party billing issue resolution
