Customs Compliance Specialist
Virtual Vocations Inc
Supporting US import compliance in a full-time remote capacity, the Customs Compliance Specialist will ensure adherence to trade regulations, manage classification data, and facilitate import clearance while collaborating with internal teams and external partners. Key responsibilities Classify new US import items using HTS codes and prepare binding ruling requests Maintain classification data and support compliance strategy through KPI tracking and broker communications Advise stakeholders on customs compliance matters and audit customs entries to resolve post-entry issues Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience LCB or CCS certification preferred, along with SAP S4 experience Knowledge of HTSUS classification and 19 CFR regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
