Nursing Supervisor - Nurse Admin Management (Days) (PRN)

The Nursing Supervisor performs nursing duties and makes management decisions in accordance with hospital policy procedure and supervises other nursing personnel who are responsible for patient care during an 8-12 hour period. The Nursing Supervisor is a proficient nurse who has chosen the management tract. This nurse has general knowledge of nursing practice and takes responsibility for the development and nurturing of self. This individual serves as a resource person for nursing and other hospital departments and must be able to set priorities. This position will include accountability for maintaining high standards of patient care throughout the hospital. The Nursing Supervisor is responsible and accountable for prescribing, delegating and coordinating the nursing care provided in the hospital utilizing the nursing process. Required Knowledge & Skills Education: See License/Certification Requirements Experience: Two years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures. Licenses and Certifications GEORGIA REGISTERED NURSE LICENSE OR MULTISTATE NURSING LICENSE

HEALTHCARE PROVIDER (CPR)

Qualifications Proficient in written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to convey clear concise understandable instructions to patient, family, and staff.
