Machine Operator - 1st Shift

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the printing and packaging industry, is seeking a Machine Operator - 1st shift to join their team. As a Machine Operator you will be part of the production department supporting high-speed manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: NEW PALTZ, NY

Pay Range: $19.00-$20.00/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

What's the Job?

• Assist in setting up and operating high-speed manufacturing equipment
• Load raw materials into machines and monitor production processes
• Palletize finished products for delivery
• Follow operator instructions to adjust machine parts for optimal performance
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by cleaning equipment and work areas

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to perform basic math and measure to the 16th of an inch
• Good mechanical skills and willingness to learn on the job
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Prior experience with inks, PMS/GCMU colors, or high-speed printing machines is preferred
