Our client, an industry leader in agricultural services, is seeking a Corn Sorter to join their team. As a Corn Sorter, you will be part of the harvesting operations supporting seasonal agricultural activities. The ideal candidate will have reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Corn Sorter

Location: Rushville, IN

Pay Range: $15.89

Shift: Monday to Sunday, approximately 6:00am to 6:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. Work schedule will be provided by supervisors. Employees will work 6 days per week with 1 day off, with the option to work 7 days if they choose to opt-in for the entire season.

What's the Job?

• Sort corn to maintain seed quality and remove waste or foreign material
• Identify damaged, moldy, or insect-affected ears and discard accordingly
• Assist with re-husking and kernel cleaning processes as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of the work environment, including sweeping and debris removal
• Follow safety policies and wear appropriate PPE at all times

What's Needed?

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
• Good eyesight and reliable transportation
• Effective communication skills in English (preferred Spanish & French speaking candidates are welcome)
• Attention to detail and reliability in attendance
• Ability to work in dusty environments and wear ear protection as required
