Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure and credentials to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Demonstrated experience working with children and young adults in school settings, especially with low incidence populations such as students on the autism spectrum or with multiple disabilities
• Solid organizational abilities, enabling effective caseload management and compliance with documentation requirements
• Skilled in collaboration with educators, families, and allied professionals to optimize student outcomes
• Ability to adapt interventions and approaches based on individual student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted occupational therapy services as part of the Low Incidence Program, focusing on developing functional, academic, and life skills
• Participate in the assessment process, contributing to IEP development and goal setting
• Monitor and document student progress, ensuring timely and accurate reporting that supports compliance and communication
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute specialized knowledge to support student growth
• Assist with transition planning for older students, maximizing independence and participation in school and community settings
