NIGHTCLUB MANAGER

Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, including late nights

POSITION OVERVIEW

Everk Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced  Nightclub Manager to lead operations at one of our nightlife venues in Fresno.

This is  not a traditional restaurant management position . We are specifically looking for someone with experience in nightlife, high-volume bars, lounges, clubs, entertainment venues, or similar late-night hospitality environments.

The ideal candidate understands that nightclub management requires a balance of  hospitality, sales, security, compliance, staffing, bottle service, guest experience, and strong operational control .

You must be comfortable leading from the floor, managing high-volume nights, making decisions under pressure, and holding teams accountable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage nightly operations from pre-opening through close
• Lead bartenders, barbacks, bottle-service staff, hosts, bussers, security, and support staff
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate nightly expectations
• Oversee bottle service, VIP reservations, table placement, and guest experience
• Drive revenue through table sales, upselling, premium products, and strong floor execution
• Work closely with security to maintain a safe and professional environment
• Enforce ID verification, dress code, alcohol-service, and company policies
• Maintain compliance with California ABC requirements and venue operating standards
• Manage labor, staffing levels, scheduling, attendance, and overtime
• Monitor inventory, comps, voids, spills, waste, cash handling, and deposits
• Resolve guest complaints and employee issues professionally
• Complete nightly reports and communicate operational concerns to senior leadership
• Coordinate with DJs, promoters, performers, marketing, and special-event teams
• Maintain venue cleanliness, organization, professionalism, and readiness at all times

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Performance will be measured through operational and financial KPIs, including:

• Nightly and weekly sales
• Bottle-service and VIP revenue
• Labor percentage
• Beverage cost
• Inventory variance
• Overtime
• Cash and deposit accuracy
• Guest complaints
• Employee attendance and turnover
• Safety incidents
• ABC and regulatory compliance
• Event performance
• Overall venue execution

Performance-based compensation opportunities may be tied to achievement of established KPIs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Nightlife management experience is strongly preferred.

Ideal candidates will have experience in one or more of the following:

• Nightclubs
• Lounges
• High-volume bars
• Entertainment venues
• Bottle-service operations
• Late-night hospitality
• Large-scale events

Candidates should also have:

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience managing hourly teams
• Understanding of alcohol service and guest safety
• Strong conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations
• Experience managing labor, sales, and operating costs
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and late nights
• Strong organizational and administrative skills

California ABC knowledge and experience working with security teams, DJs, promoters, entertainers, or VIP operations are highly preferred.

We are not looking for someone who simply supervises a shift.

We are looking for a manager who can  take ownership of the venue, lead people, drive revenue, protect the business, maintain standards, and execute consistently.

The right candidate is professional, accountable, organized, revenue-focused, hospitality-driven, and comfortable leading in a fast-paced nightlife environment.

SCHEDULE

Typical workweek is  Wednesday through Sunday .

Friday and Saturday late-night availability is required.

Additional hours may be required for special events, meetings, training, and high-volume nights.
