Senior Tax Manager

Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Senior Tax Manager to join their Iselin, NJ office. Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for key clients, building trusted advisory relationships Manage and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and pass-through entities Identify tax planning opportunities and proactively advise clients on strategies, risks, and compliance matters Oversee engagement timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure profitability and quality standards Research and interpret complex tax issues and provide clear, practical guidance to clients and internal teams Stay current on tax law changes and assess impacts on clients and firm services Lead, mentor, and develop tax managers, seniors, and staff Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support career development Review technical workpapers and returns to ensure accuracy and compliance Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience at a regional, national, or multi-national public accounting firm Real estate experience is a plus Ability to manage client and internal expectations, grow client relationships, and lead staff Proficient in the selling process, including meeting and corresponding with prospective new clients Excellent analytical and technical skills CPA required Job ID # 47750 Tagged as: Hybrid Remote/Office #J-18808-Ljbffr Abacus Group
