Medical Assistant

Location: Miramar, FL

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join a clinical research team in Miramar, FL. This is a great opportunity for a Medical Assistant looking to transition into the clinical research field. Previous clinical research experience is not required , and training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will have a strong Medical Assistant background with hands-on experience performing EKGs, phlebotomy, and general patient care responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respirations.

• Perform phlebotomy and collect blood specimens.

• Conduct EKGs and ensure proper documentation of results.

• Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures.

• Support general Medical Assistant duties and day-to-day clinical operations.

• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical documentation.

• Provide a welcoming and professional experience for patients.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.

• Hands-on experience performing EKGs.

• Previous phlebotomy experience with confidence performing blood draws.

• Familiarity with patient intake, vital signs, and general clinical procedures.

• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

No previous clinical research experience is required! We are open to Medical Assistants interested in gaining experience and building a career in clinical research.
