Litigation Associate

We are seeking a skilled Litigation Associate to join our nationally recognized sexual assault practice, with a preference for candidates experienced in medical malpractice and/or personal injury litigation. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience litigating cases in Arizona state courts and can manage a robust caseload from inception through trial. This position is for an attorney dedicated to a mission‑driven practice, representing survivors in “bet‑the‑company” litigation. We are open to varying levels of experience for the right candidate. This position carries significant responsibility, including direct client interaction, case strategy development, and meaningful trial participation at a nationally recognized mass tort firm. Key Responsibilities Represent survivors in all phases of litigation in Arizona state court, including: Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery Taking and defending depositions (fact and expert witnesses) Managing written discovery and document review Working with medical experts and consultants Develop case strategy, including liability and damages theories Prepare cases for mediation, settlement, and trial Substantive experience in trials and evidentiary hearings Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel Qualifications Litigation experience, with a strong focus on personal injury Medical malpractice, defense or plaintiff, experience strongly preferred Demonstrated experience litigating in Arizona state courts Strong deposition experience, including parties and fact witnesses Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively Active member in good standing with the Arizona State Bar Preferred Attributes Experience handling complex, high‑exposure cases Strong understanding of Arizona procedural rules and evidentiary standards Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail Compensation Competitive, commensurate with experience and market for mass tort work Medical insurance, Vision insurance, Dental insurance, 401(k) Why Join Us Take a meaningful role in high‑stakes sexual abuse litigation advocating for survivors Work in a collaborative, trial‑focused environment Direct client impact and meaningful courtroom experience The Meadow Law Firm is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
