Overview
Radiology Specialist Assistant – Interventional Radiology. Watertown, NY (travel assignment) in a hospital setting. Start date: 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 8:00 am–4:30 pm, 8x5. Weekly pay: $3,092–$3,270 per week.

Responsibilities
- Provide patient care services within approved delineation of privileges under physician supervision.
- Perform fluoroscopic procedures, including barium studies.
- Assist supervising physician with radiologic procedures and patient management; maintain efficient patient flow.
- Conduct image-guided procedures, such as joint injections (fluoroscopy or ultrasound), biopsies (ultrasound/CT guidance), and post-procedure monitoring.
- Place abscess drains using ultrasound or CT guidance and perform related pre/post-procedure care.
- Maintain confidentiality of protected health information and ensure compliance with Medical Staff Bylaws, hospital policies, and regulatory standards; respond effectively to emergencies.

Requirements
- Ability to provide age-appropriate patient care across the lifespan under physician supervision.
- Ability to perform fluoroscopic procedures and image-guided interventions within approved privileges.
- Strong patient assessment and peri-procedural care skills; ability to manage patient flow in the interventional radiology setting.
- Commitment to patient safety, PHI confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology environment in Watertown, NY; available for a 8:00 am–4:30 pm shift (8x5) and travel assignment.
