Application Engineer Our CNC Manufacturing Client in Lake County, IL is seeking an Application Engineer to join their team! Job Highlights: Direct Hire Pay: $33-40+/hr, based on experience. Opportunity for overtime. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Potential for travel outside work hours. Collaborative and friendly environment Job Duties: Conduct field service at customer facilities, ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of CNC tool & cutter grinding machines. Specifically working on Straustak machines with an understanding of Numroto software. Provide comprehensive support to customers onsite, by phone, and via email, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues promptly and effectively. Expect up to 50% travel within the USA, Canada, and Mexico to support customer needs. Ideal Candidates: Technical field service experience with CNC grinding machinery, encompassing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs. Proficiency in troubleshooting machine problems both on-site and remotely, including answering customer inquiries regarding maintenance, mechanical/electrical drawings, and part identification. Experience with the installation of CNC grinding machines at customer facilities. "Hands-on" individual with a strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to interpret and comprehend electrical, mechanical, and other technical drawings. Basic knowledge of electrical and fluid power circuits is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr ESR Healthcare
