Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data engineering solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, SQL, Python, and PySpark.
- Develop and optimize data models, data architecture, and database designs to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence needs through platforms such as Power BI.
- Implement data governance, security, and compliance practices using tools such as Microsoft Purview or Unity Catalog to ensure trusted and well-managed data assets.
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data solutions, support Azure DevOps CI/CD practices, and drive continuous improvement across data platforms.
Key Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, including 2+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, Azure Databricks, ADF.
- Strong experience in data modeling, data architecture, and database design.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance practices, with hands-on experience in tools such as Microsoft Purview or Unity Catalog.
- Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD for data solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams.
